Thanks to the nearly 4,000 people who joined us for a FREE music concert at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday March 26, 2011.  The festival was filled with great entertainment throughout the evening including a celebration at 8:30 p.m. where we recognized the International Earth Hour event showing the World that Barrie and Simcoe County is committed to reducing our environmental impact.

The Board of Directors of the Barrie Earth Hour Music Festival are now gearing up for the 2012 Earth Hour event which will be held on March 31, 2012.

We expect the event to be even bigger and better than in the past. 

We want to thank all our 2011 Sponsors for their support and have now opened up the Sponsorship Opportunities for our 2012 event.

Earth Hour is a global climate change initiative run by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The WWF is calling on individuals and businesses to turn off non-essential lighting for one hour on Saturday, March 26th, 2011 between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
